Practicing this song for a couple fundraising events coming up. I'm so excited because this is  my favorite songs! The lyrics mean so much to Me. Every time i hear this song my heart lights up and i get goose bumps! Read the lyrics as you listen the song. :)

Defender For The Orphan

I want to be a voice for the voiceless, a helper for the weak, A Defender for the Orphan and Widow! Here I am Jesus, Send ME. 

Psalms 68:5-6
“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families"

Learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.

~My trip to Africa~

My trip to Africa made a big difference in my life, I will never be the same. 
When I walked in the street I looked at how the people live and i got to thinking, Wow.......how do some of these people go through so much and still trust God? Going to Africa made me realise how much I really have! My life has changed, My dreams have changed,  I want to teach others about God.....I am so glad God brought Nakiah in my life! If we didn't go to Africa i wouldn't think anything of the starving people in Africa, i mean i had no idea where Africa was before the adoption.......i never really thought on it....not in deep thought i mean....But now that's all i can think about! My heart fell in love with Uganda Africa, and i cant wait to once return!  but....being only 14 I can't go by my self....All i can do is pray and wait for Gods plan for my life... =) I think God everyday for bringing Nakiah in my life! =D
I will never be the same!

Update in Africa!

We have been here since Wednesday and I am already so worn out....maybe its cause i don't sleep and I haven't eaten much.  

I am tired but having a blast at the same time! In the morning we wake up to the sound of children and fall asleep to the sound of children. I'm loving it! 
These kids have been through so much, it breaks my heart.

Nakiah laughs and smiles all the time now! She is so happy! 
I miss my family so much back at home! Stephen especially! I tell him everything and its hard being so far away from him! ;(

First time blogging, ;-)

Ok this is my first time blogging by myself. I'm really exited!!!
I love taking pictures!!! It has always been kinda a hobby for me, So will see how this goes! ;-) 
Oh and btw Grace Eddy helped me with the name for my blog! Thanks Grace! ;-)
